Hi. I'm Tristan. I'm a 17 year old from the Bay Area. I enjoy building creative/innovative side projects and attending hackathons. Currently, I'm finishing up college apps and building Cursor for calendar.
Previously, I was a Research Engineer dmodel (YC S24), where I helped build their v0 product and RL environments for frontier AI labs. Elsewhere, I did research on autonomous racing systems and taught courses on modern javascript frameworks.
Outside of tech, I am an avid moviegoer, pianost, and photographer. I also like to read and write (but unfortunately I procrastinate in these as well). In the past year, I've found myself drawn to philosophy, i.e epistemology, and I've even written a post on it!
I enjoy playing piano, typically impressionist or romantic. I enjoy listening to all sorts of music: jazz, 2000's pop, rap, r&b, indie, classical, modern soul, disney songs and probably more.
